Letter of Invitation

To our dear brethren gathered to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

This letter is an invitation to the young people from your area to enjoy a weekend of fellowship, recreation and meetings on February 22 & 23, 2003. We are planning some meetings during the weekend as well as outdoor winter activities on Saturday.

The era that we are living imposes so many individual obligations that little time is left to cultivate and deepen our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and with fellow members of the body of Christ. We pray that this weekend will be an opportunity for us to reflect collectively on the Lord’s priorities for us and, being with those who love His appearing, will fix our earnest gaze on Him alone. We pray also for safe travel for all who will travel and suitable weather for the activities.

All those who are able to attend should bring warm clothes suitable for outdoor activity, including skates, snow boots, hat, mittens, as well as a sleeping bag, if possible. Those arriving in good time on Friday evening should go to Bibles & Publications at 5706 Monkland Avenue.  Saturday morning activities will begin at “Pentes des Pays en Haut” at 10:00 AM. We have enclosed maps and a schedule of the weekend events.

This invitation is extended to all who may be interested in your area and we look forward to seeing as many of you as can attend. Our desire is that all that we plan and do will bring honour to the name our Lord Jesus Christ.
